The Village of Albunuelas

Situated at the top of the gorge, the village is reached by a scenic drive through the neighbouring villages. As with its neighbours, it still bears strong Moorish influences and retains its narrow streets and network of interlinking watercourses.
It is the second largest of the villages in the valley, with its own bank, pharmacy, and selection of everyday shops and bars. In addition local tradesman call on a daily basis to the various squares to deliver bread, fish and fresh produce - the only trick is to learn the various horn tones to identify the product on offer
